Why other people's screenshots are a poor guide to your Bitget menus
Screenshots of Bitget shared online often come from other regions, versions or account levels. Why they mislead, how to check what your own account shows and why changing your declared location is a mistake.
Bitget | the reader's region | the reader's funding currency | independent comparison and evidence
Reviews, forums and social posts are full of Bitget screenshots: a menu, a payment option, a product page. Readers then open their own app and find something different. The difference is usually not a mistake. Screens vary with the registered region, the verification level, the app version and the date the screenshot was taken. Treating someone else's image as a map of your own account leads to confusion at best and, at worst, to attempts to change a declared location to match it. This review explains why screenshots mislead, how to check your own account properly and how to keep a short record of what you see.
Four reasons screens differ
A screenshot reflects the author's region, their verification level, the app version they had and the rules in force on that day. Change any of those and the screen changes too. Images also get cropped and recirculated long after they were taken. Before following a screenshot, ask when and where it was made; usually nobody can tell you.
Check your own account properly
Update the Bitget app through the official store, sign in and look at what your account offers. Then read the in-app notices and the help centre pages covering product availability and verification requirements. Those official sources describe the rules that apply to you. If something is still unclear, ask support from inside the app.
Keep a short dated record
Write the date, the app version and the products and payment methods you can see. When a review or a friend mentions something different, compare it with your record instead of assuming your app is broken. The record also makes conversations with support quicker. Keep it private and free of passwords or codes.
Do not change your declared location
Declaring a different country or hiding your location to reproduce someone else's screen breaches the terms you agreed to and can lead to account restrictions, including problems withdrawing funds. If a product is not offered to you, compare the alternatives that are legitimately available to your account and decide among those.
